K.C.MAHINDRA SCHOLARSHIPS FOR POST-GRADUATE STUDIES ABROAD

The trustees of K.C.Mahindra Education trust offer interest-free loan scholarships to Indian nationals for Post-Graduate studies abroad in various fields.
Application are invited for the K.C.Mahindra Scholarships for the year 2006 for advanced studies in Engineering, Natural Sciences, Humanities, Medicine & Business Management including the study of Military, Naval and Aviation Sciences.
The maximum amount of Scholarship payable to any scholar shall not exceed Rs.95000/-. Applicants for these scholarships are required to satisfy the following conditions:
* They must possess a FIRST CLASS degree or an equivalent diploma from a recognized Indian University.
* They must have secured admission or have applied for admission in reputable foreign universities for courses commencing from September 2006 but not later than February 2007.
Candidates studying in the FINAL YEAR of degree or diploma courses are also eligible to apply provided they produce their Final year Certificate before the end of June 2006.
Government and Quasi-Government Officers with a credible academic record, going abroad for specialised qualifications are also eligible to apply.
Preliminary applications should be forwarded to the
Executive Secretary,
K.C.Mahindra Education Trust ,
Cecil Court, 3rd Floor, Near Regal Cinema,
Mahakavi Bhushan Marg, Mumbai-400001,
along with a 25cm X 18cm self addressed envelope affiliated with Rs.10.00 postage stamps. Applications should reach not later than 28th February 2006. The prescribed application forms will be sent only to those candidates who are considered to have the requisite qualifications as stated above.
The applicants must send the duly filled in application forms along with necessary enclosures to the Trust Office before 31st March 2006.
The final interview of the candidates will take place in the month of July, 2006. Interview date will be initimated to the selected candidates during the 3rd week of May, 2006.
