Four-year Ph.D. Scholarships in International Management
Agder University College offers resident students in the new PhD programme in International Management a four-year PhD scholarship. The programme is designed for individuals of all nationalities seeking an academic research and teaching career. The programme in International Management focuses on issues related to international activities of organizations - ranging from multinational firms to non-profit corporations.
The application deadline is May 1st, and the programme will commence on September 4th 2006. The School of Management offers eight scholarships - of which four will be full-time and four will be half-time scholarships. With a full-time scholarship there is a 25% work requirement towards the School of Management.
Half-time scholarship does not carry a work requirement, but at least one year of residency. This half-time scholarship requires that the candidate provides additional financing (by an emloyeeer or other sources) - such that he/she will have three full years of PhD program involvement. A full-time scholarships is approximately 292.000 Norwegian kroner per year (lønnstrinn 39 in Norwegian) - or about 36 400 EURO a year.
